Harry Brignall
Qualifications: Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology, Bachelor of Exercise Science, Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance.
Harry grew up in the Southern Highlands where he played multiple sports including soccer and basketball. In 2019 he made the move to the Illawarra whilst completing his Exercise Science degree at University of Wollongong. Harry then went on to complete his Masters of Exercise Physiology through Charles Sturt University. During his studies Harry was part of the sports trainer team with BaiMed where he worked with local soccer and rugby teams.
Outside of work Harry enjoys playing golf, snowboarding and exploring the south coast with his partner and their beloved dog Archie.

Tiarne Ayres

Qualifications: Partner Training & Massage for Pregnancy – Pregnancy Massage Australia (2014), Diploma of Remedial Massage – Shellharbour TAFE NSW (2013), Certificate of Pregnancy Massage – Pregnancy Massage Australia (2013), Certificate IV Massage Therapy Practice – Shellharbour TAFE NSW (2012), Member of Massage Association of Australia (MMA) and Pregnancy Massage Australia.
After four years as a Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer, Tiarne became qualified as a Massage Therapist. She is passionate about working with various types of clients including elite athletes to help them achieve a healthy lifestyle.
Outside work, Tiarne is an avid fan of the Cronulla Sharks and Illawarra Hawks. She also couldn’t live without her running shoes, having completed Half Marathons and Trail Running, including the Coastal Classic. Melinda Sandon

- Pelvic floor relationship to exercise, sport and musculoskeletal dysfunction
- Advanced clinical skills in POP/SUI (including pessary fitting)
- OAB and bladder dysfunction
- Genitourinary and anorectal pain
Melinda has over 17 years experience working in both the public and private sector, but in the last 8 years has focussed exclusively on female pelvic health.
She works in close consultation with obstetricians, gynaecologists and midwifes across the Illawarra, South Sydney to the Shoalhaven.
Melinda leads the women’s health team at BaiMed, providing support and mentoring to early years clinicians. Together the team integrate musculoskeletal and pelvic health management for women in every life stage, with a focus on helping them remain fit and active as the work through injury and dysfunction.
Outside work hours, Melinda loves distance and trail running and spending time at the beach with her four children.

Jane Katkjaer

Qualifications: BSc Physiotherapy (Uni of Sydney) and two-year Dansk Yoga Certificate (Copenhagen).
Jane joined BaiMed in 2016 upon returning to Australia after 20 years living and working in Hong Kong, Denmark and Dubai.
Jane’s interest and experience is in exercise-prescription training based on in-depth yoga theory and practice. Her passion lies with the relationship between breath control, yoga and physiotherapy. She teaches PhysioYoga in Kiama combining these practices to give clients maximum benefit for their own sport or lifestyle.
In her free time, she is pounding the laps of the Kiama outdoor pools with her husband, or driving their daughter to her various swim meets.

Emily Stewart

Emily was an avid gymnast growing up, before transitioning to surfing and snowboarding. With additional Pilates accreditation, she has built experience in teaching mobility and control in fundamental movement patterns required for individual life demands and sporting needs.
With her practice in the NDIS and hospital spaces, she understands the importance of holistic health and thrives on integrating practice to suit a patient’s life-style needs.
Emily has worked alongside various football clubs including 2022 minor premier ship Woonona Sharks, 2023 Grand final winners Fernhill Foxes, South Coast Flame Girls & Women’s and Wollongong Wolves Juniors.
Her keen interest areas include general musculoskeletal, adolescent growth-related pain, sporting injuries, neurodivergent conditions.

Kat Dawson

Kat was born and raised in Lincolnshire, England. She spent 8 years working for the NHS and 4 years in private practice. Alongside this she has worked in sports, amateur rugby union, Yorkshire netball academy, and more extensively rugby league; spending nearly 10 years with Sheffield Eagles and 5 years with the Irish International Team. She has recently relocated to Australia and offers appointments at BaiMed Wollongong and Kiama.

Ashleigh Hooper

Qualifications: Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation (UOW )
Ash joined BaiMed’s team of Exercise Physiologists in 2021 after working and developing EP services in private physiotherapy practice in the Sutherland Shire for over 1.5 years. Prior to this Ash worked in cardiac rehabilitation at Wollongong Hospital.
Ash has a special interest in neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s Disease, stroke, and MS. She also is interested in chronic disease management including cardiac rehabilitation, type 2 diabetes management and falls prevention.
Growing up Ash was a National level swimmer, now she enjoys snowboarding and playing AFL for the Wollongong Lions. Outside of work Ash enjoys drinking coffee and going to the beach.

Illawarra Hawks Performance Program Manager 2015 – current NSW Junior State of Origin Physio 2014 – current Scott has been with BaiMed since 2009 and is one of the owners. Originally based at the Wollongong clinic, he left to open the Woonona clinic in 2012 and then the Kiama clinic in 2015. His interest in holistic biomechanical based treatment, means Scott’s primary focus is on injury prevention and athletic development, and loves working with people in a team based environment to create positive change.

Harshini Mallgee

Harshini graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy in 1999 and has worked in a variety of health and education settings in South Africa. In 2003, she completed her paediatric Bobath/ Neurodevelopmental Training (NDT) and she followed her passion for working with children with diverse support needs.
In 2012, Harshini completed her advanced training in Pelvic Floor Health. She developed a special interest in this clinical area and is committed to helping men, women and children with any pelvic health concerns.

Christine Hutton
Position: Physiotherapist Location: Wollongong and Figtree Performance Centre Qualifications: Bachelor of Exercise and Health Science (University of Massachusetts), Doctor of Physiotherapy (Macquarie University)
Christine joined BaiMed in 2021 after graduating from her Doctor of Physiotherapy studies at Macquarie Uni. She is part of the BPC and HQ Women’s Health Team, with a special interest exercise during pregnancy, return to exercise postnatal, pre and post-natal MSK.
Christine grew up in the US, in a small town called Lake Tahoe. Her love for sport and the outdoors started from a young age where she began snowboarding, wakeboarding and playing volleyball.
She attended the University of Massachusetts and played volleyball in the NCAA for 4 years. Another highlight of her time in Boston was running the Boston Marathon.
After finishing her degree at UMass, she did a lot of traveling and completed her yoga teacher training. She taught yoga while working at a physiotherapy practice in her hometown of Lake Tahoe before moving to Australia to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy.

Samantha Reid

Sam enjoys treating a wide range of patients and injuries, but really loves helping paediatric patients and their families. This includes infants, toddlers and young athletes in any sport. Supporting children and their families through conditions such as developmental delay, hypermobility and growth related conditions (Osgood-Schlatters etc) is where Sam really excels.
With an extensive background in gymnastics, Sam is also experienced and passionate about assessing and treating gymnasts of all levels. Understanding their complex and specific needs helps her work closely with the gymnasts team to keep them training and competing whenever possible while injured.

Belle Condy

Belle is a passionate physiotherapist spending her early career on the Gold Coast working in the public sector upon graduation and then moved into private practise in 2010, where she enjoyed teaching mat and reformer pilates, and spent 4 years with the Broadbeach Cats AFL team as their trainer and then Physiotherapist.
In 2012 Belle left Australia and spent the next 7 years working internationally as a physiotherapist, pilates and yoga instructor travelling the world onboard luxury superyachts before settling in South Africa with her husband in 2019. There they welcomed their beautiful daughter Olivia in 2021 and in November 2022 relocated back to Australia.
Belle believes that the road to good health and wellness is a balance of physical, mental and spiritual aspects and like to take a holistic approach in treatment.
