Christine joined BaiMed in 2021 after graduating from her Doctor of Physiotherapy studies at Macquarie Uni. She is part of the BPC and HQ Women’s Health Team, with a special interest exercise during pregnancy, return to exercise postnatal, pre and post-natal MSK.
Christine grew up in the US, in a small town called Lake Tahoe. Her love for sport and the outdoors started from a young age where she began snowboarding, wakeboarding and playing volleyball.
She attended the University of Massachusetts and played volleyball in the NCAA for 4 years. Another highlight of her time in Boston was running the Boston Marathon.
After finishing her degree at UMass, she did a lot of traveling and completed her yoga teacher training. She taught yoga while working at a physiotherapy practice in her hometown of Lake Tahoe before moving to Australia to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy.
Outside of work, Christine loves all things outdoors, especially with her dog, Madeline.

Jenna grew up in Jervis Bay and moved to Canberra to complete her university in 2009. She has coached gymnastics in both Nowra and Canberra at the National and Elite level. Jenna previously worked with BaiMed before moving to Perth where she practised with elite athletes including gymnasts, rugby and hockey players. Jenna also worked within Pediatrics with Child Health Services including developmental delay and integrating school aged children with disabilities and gross motor development into community sport. 2018 was a massive year for Jenna, she was the Head Physiotherapist for the Cirque Du Soleil of the Sea where she traveled with the cast through most of Europe for 9 months. Jenna has recently relocated back to the Illawarra and is offering appointments at our Shoalhaven and Kiama clinics.

Teale currently runs our BaiMed Bumps Pregnancy and Post Natal Exercise classes. She is trained in Clinical Pilates and Dry Needling.
Teale has also completed industry leading research with The University of Sydney investigating heading injuries in youth National Premier League. Her research was the first to include Australian data and has been pivotal in informing injury prevention policy with FIFA and Football NSW.

Jordan has experience working in private practice as a Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist. He has worked with several sports teams, including the u20’s St George Illawarra Dragons, NSW Masters Hockey, Illawarra Hockey and Rugby Union.
Jordan is passionate about, and is specially trained in, the management of vertigo and other vestibular conditions, and is BaiMed’s vertigo physio. He has completed multiple advanced vertigo and vestibular rehabilitation courses, and continues to further educate himself regularly. Jordan’s expertise means many of the Illawarra’s leading neurologists and ENT doctors refer to him for their vertigo and dizzy patients. Jordan has presented presentations and information sessions to both allied health professions and local GPs.

Maddie has been a part of the BaiMed family since 2015, initially in our admin team and then as a Strength and Conditioning Coach from 2019. Maddie has been the South Coast Blaze Strength and Conditioning Coach for two years since their inclusion in the Netball NSW Premier League.
After graduating from a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2021, Maddie progressed to working as an Exercise Physiologist in the BaiMed Performance Centre and Nowra clinic.
Maddie’s special interests are in youth long term athletic development, return to sport, and high-performance strength and conditioning. Maddie also has a focus in gymnastics, after being a gymnast herself for 16 years, and a Gymnastics Coach at SCYC Nowra Gymnastics for 9 years.

Dean grew up in the small town of Griffith where his family owned a prune and orange farm. He played multiple sports competitively, with soccer always his sport of choice.
Dean later moved to Wollongong to attend UOW and complete his undergraduate degree in Medical and Health Sciences. Dean later completed his Master of Physiotherapy at UTS, graduating in 2021, before joining BaiMed in 2022.
Dean is also an accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach and Level 1 Sports Trainer.
Dean has an interest in treating sporting injuries and being part of the rehab process from managing an initial injury to returning to sport or work. Dean’s interest sparked from when he was growing up and experienced a lot of low back pain. Through his frequent physio visits he began to learn and experience the benefits of rehabilitation through exercise, education and self-management strategies.

Miss Nikki Cockley

Nikki-Lea lived in Port Macquarie for 3 years while completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Whilst there, she was active in the community helping out at rugby games on the weekends, working as a first aid officer at a water park and helping out annual IronMan in the massage and medical tent.
Over the past two years, Nikki has been a sports trainer with local football teams ranging from district league to NPL.
Nikki joined BaiMed in 2021 and is part of the aged care team. In addition to working in aged care, she is interested in sports injuries and women’s health.

Claire has always been passionate about sport and as a teenager she was a competitive swimmer and her highlights include national medals for under 17 and 18yrs, 5km and 10km open water swims. In 2017 she completed the Rottnest Channel Swim in 5hrs 57min. In her second last year of her undergraduate degree she went on exchange to North Carolina University and decided to try out for the crew team. This was an experience to be a division one athlete for 6 months in an American college. After graduating in Curtin, Claire moved to the Snowy Mountains to Cooma and took up snowboarding and league tag. Claire worked as a sports trainer for 5 years with various sporting codes at all different levels including rugby union, rugby league and soccer. She has taught clinical Pilates for 2 years and enjoys seeing people learn to appreciate how strong and amazing their bodies are. Jordan’s sporting highlight was representing NSW in surf boat rowing and winning the Australian Open.
After becoming a physio, Jordan’s career highlight was working as a strength and conditioning associate with the NSW Waratahs for the 19-20 season.
Jordan has a special interest in lower limb injuries, particularly injuries sustained through soccer and athletics.

Ash joined BaiMed’s team of Exercise Physiologists in 2021 after working and developing EP services in private physiotherapy practice in the Sutherland Shire for over 1.5 years. Prior to this Ash worked in cardiac rehabilitation at Wollongong Hospital.
Ash has a special interest in neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s Disease, stroke, and MS. She also is interested in chronic disease management including cardiac rehabilitation, type 2 diabetes management and falls prevention.

Shab specialises in treating children. She is originally from England, where she worked for 15 years as a specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist in a large teaching hospital. Her role included working on the neonatal unit with extremely premature babies at risk of neurological disorders.
She has extensive experience working with children with a large range of physical disabilities and her focus is working with children and their parents to help them reach their full potential by using treatments such as strengthening and stretching exercises, intensive therapy programs, adapted equipment and motor learning.
