Emily was an avid gymnast growing up, before transitioning to surfing and snowboarding. With additional Pilates accreditation, she has built experience in teaching mobility and control in fundamental movement patterns required for individual life demands and sporting needs.

With her practice in the NDIS and hospital spaces, she understands the importance of holistic health and thrives on integrating practice to suit a patient’s life-style needs.

Emily has worked alongside various football clubs including 2022 minor premier ship Woonona Sharks, 2023 Grand final winners Fernhill Foxes, South Coast Flame Girls & Women’s and Wollongong Wolves Juniors.

Her keen interest areas include general musculoskeletal, adolescent growth-related pain, sporting injuries, neurodivergent conditions.

Matt is born and raised in Kiama and loves the close community connections that come with living in the area. He previously worked as a Live High Voltage Powerline worker before returning to study in 2016. Growing up Matt had a strong interest in all sports, playing virtually everything on offer in the area. He has a particular interest in Rugby Union, which he has played for Kiama Rugby since juniors. Matt has an interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries including lower back pain, sporting injuries, and shoulder pain.

Bernadette grew up Sydney and has recently moved to the South-Coast to escape the hustle and bustle. She is very much looking forward to a change of pace. Completing her Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy she has worked with other Allied health professionals.

Her interest in body mechanics and having experienced the benefits firsthand has led her to pursue a career in massage. Working with a range of clients from children, elderly to athletes and people with chronic conditions. She is very passionate about helping her clients achieve a better quality of life. Offering a wide range of therapy from relaxation, sports, lymphatic drainage, injury prevention and overall assisting in relieving body aches and pain.

In her spare time Bernie is a bit of a foodie and loves to cook for family and friends. Trying out her green thumb and started a veggie garden she has become Bunnings regular on weekends. She has a cheeky 11-year-old daughter (Lily) that keeps her on her toes.

Ash joined BaiMed’s team of Exercise Physiologists in 2021 after working and developing EP services in private physiotherapy practice in the Sutherland Shire for over 1.5 years. Prior to this Ash worked in cardiac rehabilitation at Wollongong Hospital.

Ash has a special interest in neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s Disease, stroke, and MS. She also is interested in chronic disease management including cardiac rehabilitation, type 2 diabetes management and falls prevention.

Growing up Ash was a National level swimmer, now she enjoys snowboarding and playing AFL for the Wollongong Lions. Outside of work Ash enjoys drinking coffee and going to the beach.

Warren Hobson

Following a 19 year career in the banking sector Warren commenced study for Physiotherapy as a mature student. Following graduation Warren commenced work in Private Practice in NZ before moving to Australia in 2012. Spending 5 years working in Private Practice in Queensland before moving to the Shoalhaven region in 2017.

Warren enjoys the variety of work in private practice and the challenges that this brings.

Sarah is passionate about helping people with neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Brain/Spinal cord injuries. Together with her colleague Ryan Parker, Sarah developed an exercise program for people living with Parkinson’s Disease, called P.D. Power.

Outside of work you’ll find Sarah heading up to The Shire to see family and friends, off on an 8-hour road trip to East Gippsland to see family with her husband and blue heeler, or staying home and enjoying beautiful Kiama.

Harry grew up in the Southern Highlands where he played multiple sports including soccer and basketball. In 2019 he made the move to the Illawarra whilst completing his Exercise Science degree at University of Wollongong. During his studies Harry was part of the sports trainer team with BaiMed where he worked with local soccer and rugby teams.

Mitchell was born and raised in Canberra and has recently moved to the South Coast to start his career in physiotherapy.

Mitchell grew up playing a range of sports such as AFL, Softball, Ultimate Frisbee, and Oztag. During this time, Mitchell incurred a range of injuries, which resulted in spending time with physiotherapists. This is where his interest and passion for a career as a physiotherapist sparked.

Over his years of study at the University of Canberra, Mitchell assisted local sporting clubs as a sports trainer for both AFL and Soccer. Mitchell has also assisted as a sports training for the Fremantle Dockers Football Club on multiple occasions.

Mitchell has an interest in sports related injuries involving the lower limb or shoulder and is keen to assist people in reaching their recovery goals.

Belle is a passionate physiotherapist spending her early career on the Gold Coast working in the public sector upon graduation and then moved into private practise in 2010, where she enjoyed teaching mat and reformer pilates, and spent 4 years with the Broadbeach Cats AFL team as their trainer and then Physiotherapist.

In 2012 Belle left Australia and spent the next 7 years working internationally as a physiotherapist, pilates and yoga instructor travelling the world onboard luxury superyachts before settling in South Africa with her husband in 2019. There they welcomed their beautiful daughter Olivia in 2021 and in November 2022 relocated back to Australia.

Belle believes that the road to good health and wellness is a balance of physical, mental and spiritual aspects and like to take a holistic approach in treatment.

Mia Pritchett

As a child, Mia grew up travelling Australia in a caravan and then settled on the far south coast of NSW during her high school years where she was a keen surfboat rower and enjoyed the magic of the coast.

Mia moved to Wollongong after school for a change in scenery where she worked in the hospitality industry and enjoyed travelling to various places around the globe.

In 2020, amidst covid lockdowns, Mia graduated with a Bachelor in Exercise Science and in 2022 she graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy. She enjoys treating musculoskeletal injuries and has an interest in women health, healthy ageing and neurological conditions.

Tristan is born and bred in Albion Park, he moved to Newcastle for University but couldn’t stay away from the ‘gong’.

Tristan grew up playing a range of sports. Mainly rugby league, touch footy, Oz tag and little Athletics. He was an injury prone youngster himself and spent plenty of time in a physiotherapy clinic as a patient. Positive interactions with physios as a patient was what guided him towards becoming a physio. He enjoys treating a wide range of injuries but has a particular interest in injury prevention, lower limb injuries and the rehab process involved with getting people back to running!

Outside of work he spends his free time staying active outside, at the gym, the beach or socializing with mates.

Angus Clark

Angus grew up in the Nowra where he played numerous sports, including rugby union, soccer, AFL, and cricket. After travelling overseas and around Australia during his gap years, Angus moved to Canberra to complete his studies at the University of Canberra. During this time, he gained valuable experience as a sports trainer with various rugby teams, including the Brumbies u16s.

Angus has a keen interest in sporting injuries, particularly the lower limb, and concussion. He also enjoys the connections you can make with people as a physio and the wide range of opportunities it can provide.
