Jenna also worked within Pediatrics with Child Health Services including developmental delay and integrating school aged children with disabilities and gross motor development into community sport. 2018 was a massive year for Jenna, she was the Head Physiotherapist for the Cirque Du Soleil of the Sea where she traveled with the cast through most of Europe for 9 months. Shab specialises in treating children. She is originally from England, where she worked for 15 years as a specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist in a large teaching hospital. Her role included working on the neonatal unit with extremely premature babies at risk of neurological disorders.

She has extensive experience working with children with a large range of physical disabilities and her focus is working with children and their parents to help them reach their full potential by using treatments such as strengthening and stretching exercises, intensive therapy programs, adapted equipment and motor learning. Phil became interested in studying physio after frequently injuring himself while playing Ultimate Frisbee at an international level for 11 years. 

Whilst studying Sport Science at Sydney University, Phil worked as a remedial massage therapist. After completing this degree he did his post-grad studies at Macquarie Uni.  Phil has worked with a variety of professional athletes, including six years with the Greater Western Sydney Giants AFL club, and seen first hand what is involved in elite sports injury rehab.

Since graduating in 2019, Phil worked in a small clinical space in a North Sydney gym and working with specialist physio Trish Wisbey-Roth on her online education business - The Physio Accelerator. 

Phil is particularly interested in tendinopathy, lifting technique and exercise programming/monitoring. 

Phil joined the BaiMed team in October 2021 and is working out of the Kiama and Nowra clinics. Outside of work Phil enjoys beach volleyball, surfing, triathlons and the gym.

Suzie specialises in treating children. A Past Chairperson of the National Paediatric Group (NSW) of the APA, Suzie has worked as a Senior children’s physiotherapist and Service Manager at both Westmead Children’s Hospital and the Sydney Children’s Hospital.A published author on many occasions, Suzie adores kids and has devoted her career to working in Paediatrics and disability services.

Suzie is a mum to 3 beautiful boys and has a new interest in Lego, transformers, dinosaurs and diggers. On the weekends you’ll find her spending time with her family, enjoying early morning runs and Sunday afternoon BBQ’s.

You’ll find JC busy at our Wollongong clinic assessing, treating and managing patients with predominantly musculoskeletal conditions. When he’s not there he’s at the Performance Centre providing rehab and advice to patients for a range of lower limb and ACL injuries, helping them get back into their sport of choice ASAP.

Jordan has always had a keen interest in physiotherapy from a young age due to playing a lot of sport and spending a lot of time getting treated for injuries (mostly by the physiotherapists at BaiMed!).

Jordan’s sporting highlight was representing NSW in surf boat rowing and winning the Australian Open.

After becoming a physio, Jordan’s career highlight was working as a strength and conditioning associate with the NSW Waratahs for the 19-20 season.

Jordan has a special interest in lower limb injuries, particularly injuries sustained through soccer and athletics.

In addition to treating injuries, Jordan is also working in our aged care team.

Outside of work you’ll find him playing any sport (especially one of his favourite sports of soccer and rowing), at the beach or snow, or finding new places to camp and travel.

Claire has always been passionate about sport and as a teenager she was a competitive swimmer and her highlights include national medals for under 17 and 18yrs, 5km and 10km open water swims. In 2017 she completed the Rottnest Channel Swim in 5hrs 57min. In her second last year of her undergraduate degree she went on exchange to North Carolina University and decided to try out for the crew team. This was an experience to be a division one athlete for 6 months in an American college. After graduating in Curtin, Claire moved to the Snowy Mountains to Cooma and took up snowboarding and league tag. Claire worked as a sports trainer for 5 years with various sporting codes at all different levels including rugby union, rugby league and soccer. She has taught clinical Pilates for 2 years and enjoys seeing people learn to appreciate how strong and amazing their bodies are. Outside of work you’ll find Claire playing social touch and netball, hiking and spending time with her 8 month old Kelpie who keeps her very active!

Michael is a sports and exercise physiotherapist with experience across Sydney, Brisbane, and the Illawarra. He has worked with a variety of athletes and teams, ranging for amateur to elite, in primarily cricket, basketball, baseball, Aussie rules and rugby league.

Michael is passionate about individualised patient care and developing long term plans for patients to better manage their pain and return to meaningful activity. Michael has special interests in the management of tendon pain (tendinopathy), lower limb injury (hip, knee, ankle), and using exercise and movement as a rehabilitation method.

Maddie has been a part of the BaiMed family since 2015, initially in our admin team and then as a Strength and Conditioning Coach from 2019. Maddie has been the South Coast Blaze Strength and Conditioning Coach for two years since their inclusion in the Netball NSW Premier League.  

After graduating from a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2021, Maddie progressed to working as an Exercise Physiologist in the BaiMed Performance Centre and Nowra clinic. 

Maddie’s special interests are in youth long term athletic development, return to sport, and high-performance strength and conditioning. Maddie also has a focus in gymnastics, after being a gymnast herself for 16 years, and a Gymnastics Coach at SCYC Nowra Gymnastics for 9 years. 

Away from work, Maddie loves spending time with her fiancé, Lachlan, and their spotty Dalmatian puppy, Poppy. Maddie also enjoys going to the gym, socialising with friends and exploring new places and tracks.
