Ryan is originally from Tamworth, North West NSW, he grew up in the country chasing almost every sport and cultural opportunity available . He channeled his passions for water polo and music, representing Australia in both. Ryan continued a high level of national and international water polo throughout his 4 years studying in Newcastle. Ryan worked as a sports trainer for The Emerging Jets FC, Mariners Academy FC, local/state/national water polo teams and the Tongan Rugby Union team competing at the 2017 Pacific Nations Cup.
Outside of work you’ll find Ryan enjoying the wide range of water sports the South Coast has on offer, spending time with his partner and their border collie.

After graduating in 2013 Jess gained experience in rural private practice and had exposure to every avenue from paediatrics, aged care, acute hospital and sports physiotherapy. In 2017, Jess relocated to Wollongong to gain more experience in sports and musculoskeletal private practice.
Jess joined the BaiMed team in mid-2020 and since then has been an integral part of our Women’s Health team. Jess has a always had special interest in Women’s Health and also in the treatment of the Throwing Shoulder which is common in overhead athletes.
Jess played representative cricket at a junior level and went on to coach the Riverina Cricket Female Academy from 2014-2018. She has also worked as a Physiotherapist for the Country NSW Cricket Team since 2017.
Jess comes from an Italian heritage so her love of food and cooking is guaranteed. Outside of work you’ll find Jess exploring new places, supporting St Kilda, and playing AFL or cricket.

Jordan has extensive experience working in private practice both as a Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist. Jordan is one of our senior physiotherapists and is primarily based in the southern BaiMed clinics. He is BaiMed’s Team Leader of Vestibular Services and has completed several advanced levels vertigo and vestibular courses, and now works closely with many of the ENTs and Neurologists across the Illawarra and Sydney. Jordan presents information sessions and webinars to many local GP doctors and other allied health professionals across Australia.
Jordan has been fortunate enough to work with many high-level sporting teams, including the u20’s St George Dragons, NSW Physical Disability Rugby League team, NSW Masters Hockey, and many other local teams. He is also one of only a few certified classifiers for physical disability rugby league in Australia. Jordan has a passion for the disability sector and has extensive experience within this industry – both in physiotherapy and support.
Jordan was originally from the Southern Highlands before moving to the Illawarra, and he has two beautiful daughters. You’ll find him making sandcastles and having tea parties with his girls and going for beach walks on the rocks with wife and children.

Pete joined BaiMed in 2017. Pete has a special interest in running injuries, low back pain, and vertigo/balance disorders, as well as general musculoskeletal conditions.
He’s had previous experience working with Australian rules football and rugby union teams, and with athletes at the elite level in the NRL. When not at work, Pete enjoys running and cycling (so much so he has over 20 pairs of running shoes), listening to Fleetwood Mac and spending time with family and friends. Jess grew up dancing and playing netball in a small country town, before moving to Sydney and training full time as a dancer (majoring in contemporary and ballet). After sustaining some overuse injuries dancing, Jess moved to to Wollongong where she began her journey as a Physiotherapist.
Over the past few years, Jess has been a sports trainer for the Illawarra Stingrays (WNPL), Port Kembla F.C. and Warilla Wanderers. Whilst also working in a hospital setting where she gained experience in orthopedic, neurological and geriatric physiotherapy.
Jess enjoys spending time with friends, swimming at the beach, cooking, going to the gym, bush walking, and listening to music in her spare time.

Dean grew up in the small town of Griffith where his family owned a prune and orange farm. He played multiple sports competitively, with soccer always his sport of choice.
Dean later moved to Wollongong to attend UOW and complete his undergraduate degree in Medical and Health Sciences. Dean later completed his Master of Physiotherapy at UTS, graduating in 2021, before joining BaiMed in 2022.
Dean is also an accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach and Level 1 Sports Trainer.
Dean has an interest in treating sporting injuries and being part of the rehab process from managing an initial injury to returning to sport or work. Dean’s interest sparked from when he was growing up and experienced a lot of low back pain. Through his frequent physio visits he began to learn and experience the benefits of rehabilitation through exercise, education and self-management strategies.
Outside of work Dean enjoys going to the beach with friends, playing sport especially soccer and touch, reading, being outdoors and going to the gym.

Ash joined BaiMed’s team of Exercise Physiologists in 2021 after working and developing EP services in private physiotherapy practice in the Sutherland Shire for over 1.5 years. Prior to this Ash worked in cardiac rehabilitation at Wollongong Hospital.
Ash has a special interest in neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s Disease, stroke, and MS. She also is interested in chronic disease management including cardiac rehabilitation, type 2 diabetes management and falls prevention.
Growing up Ash was a National level swimmer, now she enjoys snowboarding and playing AFL for the Wollongong Lions. Outside of work Ash enjoys drinking coffee and going to the beach.

Matthew grew up in Bowral in the Southern Highlands before moving to Wollongong to study Medical and Health Sciences. On completing his undergraduate degree, Matt worked as a strength and conditioning coach at a high school where he was responsible for creating and monitoring programs for beginner and intermediate level student athletes.
In 2020, Matt moved to Randwick whilst completing his Master of Physiotherapy. During his studies he was fortunate enough to complete a placement with Sydney FC which reinforced his passion for working in sport. Matt has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal conditions and sporting injuries.
Matt began playing rugby league at 5 years old before making the switch to rugby union in his senior years of school, and still enjoys playing today for the Bowral Blacks.

Joe grew up in Batemans Bay with his five siblings, he played a wide range of sports growing up but ultimately landed on AFL. In 2017, he moved from the coast to Canberra for University, where he continued to play AFL both locally and in rural NSW.
In 2022, Joe joined the BaiMed team. He enjoys working with a range of musculoskeletal concerns, chronic pain and mental health. Coming from a sporting background, he also has a keen interest in sporting injuries.

Involved with the region’s Matildas and Socceroos players for more than 10 years Awarded Young business leader of the year at the Illawarra Business Awards in 2013 Corporate supporter and Board Member of Friends of The Trust – which has raised over 1.7 million for a respite home to be delivered in the next 3 years. Founder and organiser of BaiMed 100 100s event which raises valuable funds every year to support Disability Services and FOTT. As the founder of BaiMed, Mick is constantly amazed at how many wonderful people BaiMed has allowed him to meet and work with over the years. He has a special interest in lower body biomechanics, especially with regards to the age old debate over load vs capacity. His patients benefit from the professional network he’s formed which allows him access to the state’s top specialists and surgeons.
Mick is famous for his stories (to describe injuries and treatment) which could fill a book (Title pending: ‘Expressions of Interest’) and loves working with people to help them restore their own love of life! He constantly reminds his staff (and the world) of three simple statements that form the backbone of our existence: (1) Do good always; (2) Don’t be too concerned with first world problems; and (3) When asked how you are, always answer “amazing, wonderful or exceptional”.

Nikki lived in Port Macquarie for 3 years while completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Whilst there, she was active in the community helping out at rugby games on the weekends, working as a first aid officer at a water park and helping out annual IronMan in the massage and medical tent.
After this, Nikki moved back to her hometown Kiama. Over the past two years, she has been a sports trainer with local football teams ranging from district league to NPL.
Nikki joined BaiMed in 2021 and is based in the Kiama & Albion Park clinics. She is also working with Steelers in the Tarsha Gale competition. She is interested in sports injuries and women’s health.
In her spare time she is regularly found at the rockpool in Kiama doing laps, at the gym or with her energetic husky puppies called Otis & Etta. She has travelled to Europe, the UK, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand hopes to further her travels once the borders open up!
